7 Insignificant Hills I Will Die On
I like to think I'm a fairly reasonable person.
But there are certain subjects on which I am objectively correct, and I will be accepting no further questions at this time.
#1 - All dogs are puppies.
3 Month Old? Puppy. 3 Year Old - Puppy. 13 Year Old - Old Puppy.
Their bodies may age and change, but their souls are enterally youthful and you can not change my mind about that.

#2 - Tuna salad and Doritos are delicious together.
I know it may sound crazy but, I discovered this flavor combo as a kid and it remains a guilty pleasure!

#3 - The ponytail is the superior long-hair fashion in Florida.
It's up off your neck. It's out of your face. The wind isn't going to be whipping it around. With the exception of the three days a year that the temperature dips below 80 - stick to a ponytail.
Want to be fancy? Braid it, curl it, tie it up in bows.
See? It's perfect.

#4 - Lip stains are superior to lipsticks and lipgloss.
It stays put; it doesn't get on your teeth or have to be reapplied every five minutes.

#5 - Don't start with a meal on a first date.
Hear me out - if you want to get to know if you're compatible with someone before you spend months dating, skip dinner first. Especially at a fancy restaurant.
Dates tend to be a little awkward and uptight at first, and if you start with a private meal, there is no outlet for that discomfort. If you're in a fancy restaurant, that just adds to the pressure to be on your best behavior.
But if you start with something lowkey, challenging, and fun, you've done several things: you've lowered the stakes, probably introduced fun and laughter, and you get to see more of the real person you'll be dating beneath the facade.
You'll thank me later!

#6 - Teachers are overworked, underpaid super heroes.
Oops, I, said what I said!

#7 - Authors Are Crazy
We hear people that don't exist, see things in our brains, and talk to ourselves.
We spend hours...months...years...typing up our dreams so that other people can dream them, too and then either chase down a publisher or go it on our own.
Authors be crazy, yo, and you cannot convince me otherwise.

I'm curious - where do YOU stand on these important issues? lol
