Hi, I'm Heather...

My storytelling career began at three years old with a dramatic original song about wind, sneezes, and “Little Little Johnnie” breaking a spell. My mom helped me write it down.

 

I performed it with conviction, and a star was clearly born.

​

By eleven, I was privately invited to attend the Young Author's Conference and at thirteen, I won an essay contest addressing gun violence.   Through every season of my life, there were notebooks filled with poems, song lyrics, short stories, and half-formed ideas that refused to leave me alone.

 

In 2010, I wrote my first full-length novel — a Twilight fanfiction that my friends secretly had printed and bound. When they handed me the physical copy, I cried; not because it was perfect (it absolutely was not), but because holding it made the dream tangible.

I later studied Creative Writing at Miami Dade College, continuing to shape my voice and deepen my understanding of the craft.

​

I was a wedding, event, and party planner in a previous life, but am now focusing my time and energy on honing my writing skills.

​

In my spare time, I'm a very happy wife to my doting husband, Angel, and a loving fur-mom to our kitties, Nova and Yaya.  I will forever be grateful and indebted to my parents for the love and encouragement they gave me during their time here on earth.
